Porezen (1630m)

Mount Porezen is the highest mountain in the Cerkljanska hills with a great view on the surrounding ridges, hills and mountains. Slopes of porezen are  rich with rare mountain flowers and other wildlife. Best months to visit it are from may till september. The mountain is full of networks of tunnels and bunkers from the II. WW
                From either starting point you go, (Poče,Davča,Podbrdo) the path is well marked.                                                                                                                                            The tip on the monument on the top is made of weaponry pieces. It’s dedicated to the fallen partisans during the fights.
